Vor einigen Wochen berrichteten wir, dass die Jungs von The Black Dahlia Murder, ihren langjährigen Gitarristen John Kempainen verloren haben (mehr). Nun steht sein Nachfolger fest und es ist definitiv jemand, der ihm das Wasser reichen könnte. Ryan Knight von Arsis wird das neue fünfte Mitglied werden. Damit hinterlässt er jedoch bei Arsis einen leeren Platz, hoffentlich lässt sich dort auch jemand finden. Angeblich war Ryan aber schon länger am suchen, um woanders unter zu kommen.

Arg, schon wieder sone Meldung… alsob das bei Darkest Hour nicht schon gerreicht hätte. Auf jeden Fall verlässt Gitarrist John Kempainen die Band. Hier das Statement von Frontsau Trevor:

“On the eve of with friends Misery Index and Soilent Green, we in The Black Dahlia Murder are faced with a heartbreaking dilemma: John K. has abruptly left the fold and refuses to accompany us on the tour. We are left with no choice but to carry on with the dates as a four piece. The remaining members of the band apologize for these unprofessional circumstances, but we feel that it is best to go through with the tour and not disappoint the other bands as well as the fans who are looking forward to these shows. Please come out and show some Black Dahlia love in our hour of need.”

Bleibt zu hoffen, dass sie das zu viert auch hinbekommen, bzw. bald guten Ersatz bekommen. Wir bleiben gespannt aufs nächste Album.
